u-Spectrometer
The reason for this project is to test if a selective frequency can act as a detector in a simple manner. Some scattering, absorbance test can be done.
Many emission analyzers uses optical filters and also frequency modulated lasers with Lock In Amplifiers. The lock in is a perfect way to obtain extremely good SNR.
However this analyzer is just for fun, if it can't be used for emission measurement, we still can look at different light sources.
The resolution is about 1Nm.
I have tested different layouts, but the layout is not so important, the selectivity is. Meaning that the benefit is the possibility to select a specific wavelength.
